Stepping Stones Services Gift Store will be stocked with good quality handcrafted gifts, crafts, greeting cards and souvenirs.

Nearly all of these will be made by artisans who pay a monthly consignment fee to stock their goods in our North Bay gift store.



Any craftsman who makes high quality handcrafted goods of almost any description, and is seeking a new market in northern Ontario, can become a consignor for Stepping Stones Services Gift Store.



We will accept almost anything handcrafted, with particular emphasis on gifts, hand made chocolate, jewelry, souvenirs, and greeting cards.



Stepping Stones Services will charge a one-time administration fee to cover administration costs, plus a monthly fee to offset operating expenses.



Your goods will be displayed for sale, 6 days a week, 8 hours a day, in an attractive retail environment in North Bay, in northern Ontario.



Stepping Stones Services is a non-profit organization, so we are not looking to make a profit from you - simply to cover our costs, and pay our employees.



All our employees are survivors of mental health challenges. They are very motivated, helpful and customer oriented.



By enabling Stepping Stones Services to employ more staff to sell your goods, you are giving a mental health consumer the chance to gain independence and meaningful employment which helps build self-esteem and confidence. 



You will be helping our employees develop and attain their employment goals, reducing the stigma and discrimination against mental health consumers in the workplace, and helping to promote mental health awareness in North Bay. 



All of these considerations will reflect very well on you - and you will benefit from our experience of the North Bay community.



You set your price, and we will add 20% to cover our costs and expenses. When one of your gift items sells, you will receive the full price you have set for it.

 



Our new e-commerce website will be up and running this summer, providing our customers with online ordering and payment - and you will get the benefit of this.



Every item for sale in our shop will be photographed and will feature on the Stepping Stones Gifts Store website.
